Mitt eventyr

For å si det kort, du må trives for å kunne leve her.

MY FIRST DAYS IN KOREA!

Hello folks! You might have noticed that I am in korea now!! And I have been here since tuesday :P So I havent gotten to film alot because of my "awesome" jetlag... -.- but I will post some pictures here so you can see what I have been doing ;) OKay, so on the day I landet it was around 4 pm.. and I didnt get to the place I am staying before 7 pm ! LOTS OF TRAFIC! I took the taxi, and it was not that expencive, like 53000 won..thats like 400 NOK. And I was in that taxi for 2 hours... !! But the driver was very nice and drove like a normal human being! Most taxi drivers drive waay over the speed limit and are very rude in the trafic. so here are some pictures from my flight (when I was landing in Seoul) and from Dubai airport and the korean drink is from the taxi :P He was afraid I was sick.. but it was just the AC that made me caugh a bit xD lol. And for you who are travelig to Korea.. you must know that you have to fill out a heatlh card! If you have been sick the last 4 weeks you have to repord it. And they will messure your tempratur at the airport :) Dont be afraid tho, its nothing scary ^^ Just be carefull when you are in korea, dont walk right next to people who have colds and WASH your hands ALOT or use antibac! That will help you be healthy and dont get MERS or anything else :P I went to bed at 9 pm the day I got here x) Because of a major jetlag.. and I still have it a bit... so yeeey .__. On wedensday I went shopping for a pillow, and some shampoo and stuff at the huuuge mart, called Emart :P they have everything! And then I went for fried chicken and beer :) It was very good and cheap!! only 50 nok for everything!! O_O Yesterday I woke up at 2pm... yes... 2pm..! So i dint really know what to do.. so I asked my dear friend Hyeji if she wanted to meet up! And she said yesm so I went to Jangji station which is near Jamsil station.. and went to the BIGGEST shoppingmall I have EVER seen !! :D It was so big!! and lots of stores with cheap prices :3 And I ate cold noodles and mandu!! It was sooo good! <3 Then at 8.30pm I was on the subway home :) And I was home at 9.15 pm :) I stopped to buy some water, banana milk and Rice balls... Video of what I bought will be on youtube soon! :)

7 TIPS HOW TO ENJOY A LONG FLIGHT!

HERE ARE MY 7 TIPS ON HOW TO ENJOY A LONG FLIGHT! 1. Download ALOT of music you like on a mp3 player or your phone (yes you can use your phone as a mp3 player, camera, mirror etc.. BUT remember to put it on flight-mode!) - I always download new music on my phone and have old songs on my MP3. So I have music for every mood :P I love K-pop, so I have around 300 songs in total on my mp3 and phone! So I think thta will do until I land lol The good thing about mp3 players is that they are tiny! and easy to bring, but they are alos easy to forget.. so be careful! Use good earphones so you dobnt desturbe the people next to you :) ******************************************************************************************************************* 2. Download lots of non-internet games on your phone or ipad ^^ -I know this can be a bit lame.. but I really like playing games on my phone, like brain-games! Super much fun and if you go with someone you can always play on two player mode! I dont have an ipad..or any pad.. i only have my phone :P However, that dont stop me from downloading the funniest games ever! ;) ******************************************************************************************************************* 3. Watch atleast 3 movies... (i watch around 5) - This might be the thing most people do. I love watching movies, even up in the air :P So I tend to watch around 4-5 movies on long flights. Most arilines have new films and series, so its good selection of movies! just go into your own little world and become a loner haha :P Remember to take pee breaks tho! ******************************************************************************************************************* 4. Walk around the plane often to loosen up and look around. - okay, I might be the weird one here... But I have to walk around when I take long flights (over 4 hours).. or else I will go mental! And my legs tend to fall asleep .. For some reason I go to the restroom ALOT during a flight.. it might be because im nervouse and excited.. or just the thin air xD i dont know! However, when I go to the bathroom I always take my time to look around and be impressed by all sorts of things.. or i might play with some kids on the way to and back from the restroom. I know im weird.. but most of the parents get happy when The kids stop crying after seeing me D YES, that have happend before! And I tend to meet the weirdest and coolest people in the restroom queue xD its hilarious! So follow my advice.. walk around and go to the restrooms ! ******************************************************************************************************************* 5. Do some homework about the country u are going to.. like learn how to say hello and thank u.. - I always try to learn a few words and phrases when I go to a country that doesn't speak english :) Like Korea! I have learned many usefull phrases on the airplane that I can use everywhere in Korea! So bring a dictionary or just download an app on your phone.. just make sure you dont need internet! ******************************************************************************************************************* 6. Write a adveture diary ^^ - I do this most of my trips.. just so I can have it as a memory later on :) I write all kind of stuff in that diary xD lol. Last time I went to Korea I wrote: The seats are ORANGE!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN ORANGE SEATS BEFORE! I dont even know why I wrote that :P ******************************************************************************************************************* 7. Sleep! - Yes, If you know how to sleep on flights... DO IT!! It will make time go faster and you will feel alot more awake after it ^^ I cant sleep on flights... so I just watch etra movies instead ;) However, I do take small mini naps, where I just close my eyes and relax ^^ ********************************************************************************************************************** I hope these tips helps you n your next long flight trip!! :D Have a nice flight and remember, Stay safe in the jungle~ - Jessica

Cheap flight tickets?

Today im gonna write in engslih! So for today I want to tell how you can find cheap tickets to South Korea, I know that alot of people use ALOT of money on their tickets when they dont really have to :P *These tips are mostly for those living in scandinavia, I dont know how the flight costs works in the US or rest of Europe.. * ____________________________________________________________________________________1. Decide what you want.. This is very important, I cant tell you to choose a cheap flight that might save you money but will take 30 hours to fly! You have to decide if you wanna go the super cheap and super long way, the middle way or the quick but more expencive way. :) For me I took the middle way, I paid a little bit more for a shorter flight, because I dont want to spend 1,5 days on airports and in the air! And I only have ONE stop, the cheapest once I have found have two stops.. and that can be hard for a new traveler or someone who hasnt traveled alot :O **LIKE ME** ! ____________________________________________________________________________________ 2. SO now you have chosen your way, now its time to find good sites to buy your ticket! My first warning.. BE CAREFUL!! there is site out there who can sceam you of money! So my tip is to go for the more famouse once and check there.. or maybe go directly to the airline you want to travel with! Now that I have said that... back to HOW TO FIND GOOD SITES! well, first off you can try search engines such as Momondo.(com), skyscanner.(net) or farecompare.(com)... I found my ticket on momondo, So im gonna talk about them! They are very easy to use, and they only use trustworthy flightcompanies! HOW TO SEARCH: put in where you wanna go from (airport), then where you want to go (Seoul, Busan etc) then you choose round-trip (To korea and home) or one-way (only to korea). choose a date, and search! Now that you have done that.. be sure to look at the time, how long will the flight take? How long will I be on the ground(changing flights, how many stops etc) *IMPORTANT: YOU NEED ATLEAST 2 HOURS ON THE GROUND IF YOU GONNA CHANGE PLANE! SECURTY TAKES FOREVER!* I know this from personal experience, that even 2 hours can be too little if your flight is late.. so be carefull with that.. if you miss your flight, you miss your flight.. ____________________________________________________________________________________ 3. NOW you have found your perfect ticket! The price is good and the time is right for you, then click on order and the site will take you to another site (you cant buy tickets from a search engine!). This site is where you order your tickets, mine was Travel2be, but there is ALOT of sites :) I paid around 527 US dollars for a one-way ticket :P That is pretty cheap in Norway! You pay with creditcard, paypal or mastercard.. it depends on you :) ____________________________________________________________________________________ so.. there you have it! :D Its kinda messy how I explained it.. so I hope you understand still ^^ _______________________________________________________________________ SOME MORE TIPS: -I would look up the airlines before buying a ticket (you can see what airline you will fly with on the tickest online!) *I would recommend KLM, Emirates and British airways, I have traveled with these companies a few times, except Emirates which is the company I will fly with now. They have one of the best reputations in the world!* *I would not recommend Aeroflot, off my personal experience they did not come to my standards.. but they did have good food! :) However, service was not so good, and they didn't speak alot of english.. other then that it was a pretty peaceful flight.* - BE picky on your tickets! With this I dont mean you should ask for everything for 450 US dollars.. but be picky with time, stops and prices(what do you get for your money) - Buy a luggage weight so you can weigh your luggage before going to the airport! I do this on every travel I do (on plane...). Its a bummer if you have to pay alot of money just because your bag is overweight.. :/ So try to be 2 kg under the allowence :P 28-29 kg if its 30 kg and so on. - Remember that your bag is not made of air... so when you have 30 kg, it might mean only 25kg is for cloths and other stuff.. :P - If you think flights are boring.. bring some music, games and watch movies !! My flight plan is comming up in the next blog! - go to the airlines homepage and read how much you can pack and WHAT you are alloowed to pack! :) That is all for now! See you in the next blogpost, its gonna be about my flight plan/what I pack with me on the carry-on bag! Until then, have a safe jungle life~ - Jessica
